BIO: The first time I put a SLR camera in my hand I was 12 years old. I always saw still photography as an additional language that could properly say what words cannot. After working the corporate world I decided I needed to finally pursue what I loved to do; tell stories through photography and film. In 2007, whilst still keeping a foot in the business world,  I went back to university where I got my BA in English Literature and Film from UCLA, completing my degree in 2010. There I found my passion for making documentary films and taking stills on film sets. In 2012 I went to the UK for my Masters Degree in Documentary Film where I got a taste of the European view of film making via London. Capturing moments in the entertainment industry has been one of my greatest joys. I love working with a crew, a community of artists coming together for a common creative goal. Being a unit stills photographer allows me to be that fly on the wall, both during key scenes of a film, as well as capturing what goes on behind the scenes. My favorite compliment is when a crew member tells me they forgot I was there. Then I know I’ve done my job right.
